"As teachers and educators, our students are the conduit of our knowledge; Our lives are the roots, our bodies the trunk, and our students the branches."

Welcome

"I would love to teach all grades kindergarten through eighth."

In an ideal setting, I would want to teach kindergarten, then first grade, second, third, etc. I am interested in looping, but more importantly, I want to understand the progressive development of how children learn. I plan to create a safe and responsive classroom environment for my students; empowering them to take initiative, guiding them to explore their options, and encouraging them to pursue their passions.

My Portfolio

I have been given the opportunity to build relationships, grow, achieve, and expand my paradigm; I will never stop reaching for knowledge beyond my current capabilities.

Mathkind Teacher's Trip

I was given the amazing opportunity to visit La Puerta Abierta in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala. There is much to be treasured about the education at La Puerta Abierta, including the sense of community and the love students have for learning.
